Fyoria

wow alright everyone! Don't you dare look at Fyoria's legs! They are epic fail. I have a lot that I hate about this drawing x.x but first, the things I like. I love the head, and I love the tail. The wings are... um... interesting. I tried for a long time to get them to look like dragon wings, then I got really frusturated because I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME draw folded dragon wings. SOOOOO i improvised and gave it magical pony/unicorn wings. The legs are crap, but better than when I had first done this. The cave is kind of a fail. But I wnted to put it on here because, even though I hate it, I love it. XD XD.

Right, I always need a story with my drawings, so here goes. Fyoria, the Lone Dragon, One With Fire and Hate for scales. She was cast out of the great dragon clans long ago, accused of murdering the Emporer's only daughter, a water dragon, in cold blood. Long has she lived with the consequences of this terrible deed... but the royal blood is not on her claws. She is thought to be dead and is only the stuff of legends, now. She lives in the most barren lands because it is the closest to her beloved clan, the clan who cast her out and left her to die. She keeps nearby, waiting, knowing that the true murderer was still out there, biding his time. When the threat arrives, she will be there to meet it... even if it means her own death for returning.

... Back to things I hate. No shading. XD DONT JUDGE ME! I've never taken any kind of drawing class, so I have no clue how to shade. I thought it should be simple, right? Darken one side of the body and limbs. turns out, shading hates me XD XD. So, please, I know I'm not watched much, But I really need a bit of advice, here! How do I make the legs less fail, how to shade, and how to draw a freaking folded dragon wing!!! I don't feel like making magical pony wings for the rest of the dragons I draw XD XD.

Oh, and btw, if anyone's interested (to those who are, XD thank you for putting up with my juvinile artwork!!) I have the outline stuff for the REAL murderer, with NO magical pony wings! yay! I might have lost it, though.... we'll see.

**EDIT** I scanned this drawing, now. I've decided to make a fan comic based of Fyoria. I'll be having a contest for characters, so check my journal for that.
